In our experiment we are using DC gearbox motors (also known as ‘TT’ motors) commonly found in two-wheel-drive robots. I currently have the power to leg 2 set to high and leg 7 set to low via the digital output pins on my Arduino. Now that we know everything about the IC, we can start connecting it to our Arduino Let’s start by connecting the power supply to the motors. My Code: void s Hi, Im pretty new to Arduino, and Im having trouble powering 2 DC motors at the same time, using an L293D Motor Driver. You must be careful that you connect GND of Arduino with GND of battery. Ive wired a small 6v DC motor up to an L293D chip and it works perfectly in one direction. Hi, Im pretty new to Arduino, and Im having trouble powering 2 DC motors at the same time, using an L293D Motor Driver. If you have need chance you can make circuit. Pin 8 is V+ from battery.I recommend you to use 9V battery so the motor will run smoothly Pin 7 is connecte to digital output on Arduino I was just wondering how to wire this being that one motor controller (which allows for 2 dc motors to be controlled) already takes up most of the pins on the Arduino, thanks. Next is Pin 2 which is connect to digital output on Arduino (you can choose any digital output from 2 to 53) I would like to connect 3 L293D Motor controllers to an Arduino Uno with the hopes of powering 6 different dc motors. Red LED diode is connected to digital output 4 Wiring L293D The L293D switches it output signal according to the input received from the. It has two voltage pins, one of which is used to draw current for the working of the L293D and the other is used to apply voltage to the motors. Green LED diode is connected to digital output 5 The L293D IC receives signals from the microprocessor and transmits the relative signal to the motors. I alredy get the l293d and test the code, it really works. This code only control 1 motor.I need control of speed and direction of 2 motors simultaneosly.Using Arduino UNO R3.Any help please. You need to connect 10k ohm resistor between GND from Arduino to push button pin. I want to control 2 dc motors with the joystick, but i dont know how to mix two pwm outputs for the motors. With this two buttons you can change direction of spinning If you will have any problems with wiring you can help youself with the pictures. On top there is circuit for controlling 1 motor and down is circuit for controlling 2 motors.I made exemple with only one motor.ĭigital input 2 is connected to ON button (button with blue cap)ĭigital input 3 is connected to OFF button (button with red cap)
